During an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, shared his thoughts on the same and expressed that he isn’t scared of it because his phone is always lying around the house. He went on to add, that as a game it would still be quite entertaining as it demands mental agility. The 56-year-old actor added, “This game will be more fun than an outdoor game because it doesn’t give you the same kind of adrenaline rush. A phone game demands mental agility. Akshay went on to added that people, who play the game of going through someone else’s phones, need to go through it and gain an understanding as everyone’s experiences will be different. “Everyone needs to go through it and gain an understanding of it rather than looking up to me or anyone else for advice. My experiences won’t matter to someone else because everyone has their own mindset and temperament. So, it’s better to go through the grind, learn from your own mistakes, and move forward in your relationship,” the Sarfira actor concluded.

For the unversed, Khel Khel Mein is an official remake of Perfect Strangers (2016), an Italian comedy-drama where a group of friends play a game of going through each others’ phones and find their darkest and hidden secrets.

On the work front, last seen in Sarfira, Akshay Kumar will be next seen in Singham Again, Khel Khel Mein, Sky Force, Hera Pheri 3, Kannappa, and the multi-starrer Welcome To The Jungle in his pipeline. He will also be making his debut in the Marathi film industry with Mahesh Manjrekar directorial Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat. He will essay Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s role.

On the other hand, Twinkle Khanna quit acting to focus on her family after she tied the knot with Akshay Kumar in 2001. She ventured into writing books and has written Mrs Funnybones (2015), The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad (2017), and Pyjamas Are Forgiving (2018). She released her fourth book, Welcome To Paradise in 2023.
